India's Birthday Party

Thursday morning our house was transformed into a sea of princesses, balloons, music, and kids. India chose a Cinderella theme for her fourth birthday.

The party was scheduled for our local park, but with 20-40 mph winds that day we had to transform the house into a "princess dance party" last minute.

Spring Break

This week has been busy, fun, adventurous, celebitory, and awesome! We got all of the standard "must-do's" out of the way....dentist, doctor, pictures, zoo. And since India's birthday fell in the middle of this week we had a few days of celebration.

Today at preschool they honored India for having a birthday next week. She got to wear a cupcake with her name on it, they sang "Happy Birthday" to her, gave her a certificate, AND she got to pick these cool glasses out of the treasure chest! She was on Cloud 9!!!! Talk about little things making a big difference :) We baked brownies tonight for her to take to daycare tomorrow. She is loving the extended celebration!

Spring Break Preview

This weekend was absolutely gorgeous and we spent some time outside taking advantage of it. So many cute things happened...it's hard to remember them all. We met Cousin Cenika at the park. The girls ran right up and made friends with anyone with a baby or a dog (and in CO that's a lot of people!). It was loads of fun! Here are some pictures from our park outing and goofing off around the house.

Busy, Blessed, Busy

We have been enjoying 60 degree weather most days over the past few weeks and tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid-70s! Come on spring!!! Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to. It has been eventful to say the least....birthday parties, pink eye, never ending coughs, dress up, fun, fun, fun!!!

TD Jakes came to our church last week and boy were we blessed! The girls were in children's church and got to eat pizza. It was a great night...and a late night. We couldn't help but chuckle as we watched the girls struggle with deliriousness. India started crying because she didn't want her last name, she just wanted to be India Bianca. Hunger and exhaustion do strange things to us all!

Today we are spending the day at home together. The girls aren't feeling 100% and mommy caught pink eye from Jordyn. We treated ourselves to bagels with(India) and without (Jordyn) cream cheese. Now we are lounging on the couch watching Veggie Tales. Sick days can be therapeutic :-)
