Family Pictures

We got our first family portrait taken 2 weeks ago. Here are some of the photos.

Week 8...officially a Daddy's girl

This has been a good week. The weather has been chilly so we've been spending much of our time playing inside. India is getting more and more alert. She discovered her feet this week while sitting in her bouncy seat...that is the only place she notices them right now. As you can see from the pictures she has become quite the Daddy's girl. Even their expressions get more and more alike every day. I really don't know what she's going to do when NBA playoffs are over. The neighbors can hear her chanting... DETROIT BASKETBALL.

To see how much she's grown compare her green striped outfit in this picture to when Grandma Zutell was holding her the 1st or 2nd week.

We love you and hope you all have a great holiday weekend.

7 weeks old and head of the house

India wants everyone to know that she is so excited to meet you all next month. She is getting so big! This little lady has become the head of our household. She tells us when we can sleep, when she will eat, and lets us know loud and clear when she doesn't agree with what we're doing. As her personality unfolds more, she truly is Miss Independent and so evidenced by the techniques she uses to get what she wants. She is a happy baby who spends most of her awake time smiling, talking, playing, and kicking her arms and feet. She also listens to Daddy's Ipod with him as you can see from the one picture. We expect she'll be walking and talking by next week:)

We love you all and are counting the days...

Spring is in the Air

Hello Everyone!

I think that spring has finally arrived. It has been beautiful here and India and I have been out walking almost every day. She is training for her first bicycle ride exercising her legs whenever she lies on her back. it seems like just yesterday that we couldn't believe they were letting us leave the hospital to be responsible for our tiny bundle of joy. We are becoming more confident now that we have successfully kept her alive for 6 weeks and she is growing bigger by the day. She is also starting to develop that adorable chubby look that happens when all you eat is milk 24/7.

We love you all and can't wait to see you in one month,
