Merry Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas to all of our friends and family. We hope that yours was as blessed and joyous as ours. Thank you for all of your thoughtfulness, gifts, texts, and Christmas wishes! We love you so much and are so grateful for you!!! Christmas morning (excuse our dead tree in the background. It went on a hunger strike a few weeks ago.)

Getting ready for Christmas

How we love the Christmas season!!!! The girls were in a Christmas play at church the beginning of December. I didn't take pictures because I was handing out programs. I will try and post a group picture they sent us in the near future. The girls also helped make treats for Holiday parties and cookies for Santa. Making Treats

Breakfast in Bed

This past Saturday morning the girls were up bright and early. Daddy gave them milk and put on cartoons and I laid in bed a little longer listening to them talk. I must have dosed off and when I woke up again I heard, "You can do it Jordyn, I am counting on you." "Just push all the buttons." I figured I should get up and see what they were up to. As I came down stairs I saw Jordyn up on the counter trying to figure out how to use the microwave. She was so excited to have gotten the door open and closed and was progressing to try and figure out how to turn it on. By the time I got down to her she had the microwave set to 78 minutes and a piece of pizza in there that she was planning to bring upstairs to me for breakfast. India was not to be left out in making me breakfast. She had gotten every orange out of the refrigerator and was cutting them up to make me orange juice. Thank the Lord she had chosen a child safe knife. What sweet, thoughtful girls I have!!!!

Jordyn's 4th Birthday Party

Today we had Jordyn's 4th birthday party. She wanted to have a Tinkerbell Party. All of the guests were told that they could dress up like princes or princesses. India and Jordyn took this very seriously and were in there princess outfits from the time they woke up until bedtime. They would not take them off! We had a special guest come to our party from Pixie Hollow...Tinkerbell! She was awesome. The highlight was absolutely when Tinkerbell asked the kids if they had ever heard of Peter Pan. As she was sharing her story of Peter Pan, Jordyn announced to everyone at the party, "My daddy wishes he had a Peter Pan costume to wear." It was right on time and HILARIOUS! Here are some pictures of Jordyn's special day. (Sorry they aren't in chronological order; I did put them in right.) India and her friend Abby

'Tis the Season

What an exciting week in Colorado! We are fortunate to have an entire week off for Thanksgiving so this week has been full of celebrations. Jordyn had her annual Thanksgiving Day Feast at Daycare. She made one of Grandma's famous Pumpkin Pies and we heard it was a hit. India had Influential Person Day at her school. She chose daddy as the Influential Person in her life. Next, we are busy getting ready for Jordyn's birthday party tomorrow. Here are a few pics. More to come....
