Summer is officially here:)

School has been out for a few weeks and I think it's been almost a month since any snow has fallen in Colorado. I think it's safe to say that summer is here:) India has been a growing, joyful ball of energy. She is loving spending her days playing at the park, going swimming, and working on her walking skills. Of course this practice has led to a few more bumps and bruises. You wouldn't believe how tough this girl is!!! Just today she was walking in a parking lot, fell down and kept on going. We didn't realize until she got in the car that she scraped her knee (yes there was even a little bit of blood) and had two little marks on her toes. She didn't fuss at all....not even during bathtime later. India continues to talk up a storm and she is singing now too. We don't know exactly what is coming out of her mouth but it is such a sweet sound!! Her favorite summer foods are definately strawberries and raspberries. That is all she would eat if she had the choice.

As far as the baby to be....all is well. We are 18 weeks and the heartrate remains around 170 bpm. We have our 5 month ultrasound on June 30th and Linwood says he can't wait to see his son:) We'll see. There's a belly pic attached. I am still waiting for the "feel good" second trimester to kick in. I have had cold symptoms and been really tired so far with this one.

We love you!!!!

More fun pictures

14 months old

Finally the summer has begun!! And boy are we busy! India has been helping Mommy clean around the house, helping Daddy work on projects, and playing with the neighbor. She has graduated to a "big girl" carseat and can now face front and see what's going on around her. She also has a "big girl" bed in her room now. We are hoping that she gradually gets used to it and wants to sleep in it. She is making gradual but consistent progress towards joining the rest of us walkers. She will stand up and take 5 or 6 steps before plopping back down. India wants to say "hi"....ds svssssssssssssssssssss N Z F a AaSHAR. All fun and games til she rips a key off.

Well, we must be going. Take care!

We love you and miss you!

The Babies are Growing

Hello Everyone!

We hope you are all doing well. We are doing great - getting ready for our summer vacation. Even India knows that something exciting is about to happen. She is getting braver in her attempts to walk. She takes a few steps while lunging for the closest body or piece of furniture. We have been working with her and she will walk across the room holding the handle of a spoon...anyday now! She has a few favorite books that she wants read over and over and over again. As soon as you finish reading and put the book down she picks it back up and hands it to you. If you don't read, she fusses. She has also moved on to a new set of favorite foods. Teddy Grahams are now her favorite snack and she loves broccoli with cheese.

The other baby is doing well also. Last Monday we heard the heartbeat and it was in the high 160s to 171. The sickness and tiredness is finally passing and Mom is feeling like a human being again. We think this one is going to be a boy...tonight she craved a BLT and hasn't eaten bacon in years.

We Love you all!

Spring is in the air!

With every passing day India is becoming more and more fun. My school had another fire this year so I had the opportunity to spend some extra days home with her. Some of our favorite activities include chasing each other around, tickling, laughing, reading, and dancing. India has become quite the dancer. She is now moving her feet and body in addition to her head. It is absolutely adorable to watch!!! She also was able to play outside this week. India and Daddy love to go for walks with her red wagon. Much to our delight she doesn't mind getting down and dirty....if only we could convince her not to eat rocks(don't worry, she hasn't swallowed any). Life is grand! We are counting the days to our summer vacation.

We love you!!!!

Big Sister

I have news!!! I am going to be a big sister. I'm not exactly sure what that means but everyone is making a really big deal about it. Supposedly there's a baby coming to our house on November 15th. I just hope he/she doesn't think he can play with my toys and sleep in my room. Now that I'm a big sister I've had to take on more responsibility around the house, such as folding the laundry. I think life is going to change very soon.

Wish me luck!

Hangin' Out, Growin' Up

Since my birthday I've been through a lot. I had to get 4 shots at my one year checkup and they made me kind of sick. Also, I got 4 new teeth and 2 more are on their way. I am still taking my time with walking but probably will soon since my Mommy and Daddy have stopped pressuring me about it. My Mommy just turned 30 and Daddy flew out Chrissy and LauraLee to play with us. They are lots of fun!!!! I have also been talking up a storm. Nobody seems to know what I'm saying but I keep talking anyway.

I love you all and miss you a lot!

Climbing the Stairs

Easter/Spring Break

Hello All! Hope that you had a great Easter. India had fun playing with plastic eggs and digging in her Easter basket. Of course she doesn't understand what it's all for yet, but we're working on it:) Having this week off for spring break is such a gift!! We are enjoying every second with India singing, dancing, laughing, and playing. She took half a step this week, so she's working on walking....all at her own pace. A lady we spoke with in Target said "Don't worry, she won't go to kindergarten crawling." It kind of puts everything in perspective. We are anxiously getting ready for India's first birthday party.

We love you and miss you!

Birthday Countdown

India is coming more into her own personality everyday. She pushes you away when she doesn't want to be bothered, sucks on your face when she wants to show love, and squeals and plays all full of joy. She has developed a few quirks...drinking bath water, sucking the cheese off of grilled cheese sandwiches and spitting out the bread, saying "Wasssdat?" She is so full of life it makes us full of life!!! We are looking forward to our Spring Break next week, Easter, and India's first birthday.

Take care!
Thanks for coming to visit Uncle ONeal!!

We Love You All!!

11 months, 1 week

Hello Everyone! It is only 3 weeks until my first birthday. I don't know what to expect but it sounds like a pretty big deal. I have been sick for the past week...just the sniffles until last night. I threw up everywhere! Don't worry, Mommy and Daddy were there to take good care of me. Daddy says that I'm a really good cuddler when I'm sick. Today I feel a little better. I don't want to eat or drink a lot but I'm not throwing up anymore.

Last weekend Mommy and Daddy took me for my first ride in the bike trailer. I cried the whole time. It's kind of scary. I overheard them saying that they were going to keep trying until I like it. Guess I better get over it pretty quick!

Mommy and Daddy are trying to get me to stop sucking on my fingers. They put socks or gloves on my hands for a few hours a day. I hate it! It makes me so mad when I can't get my fingers in my mouth! Of course after I start playing for a little while I forget about it.

I am not taking steps yet. I wish everyone would stop rushing me. I stand up not holding onto anything for a few seconds. I'm going at my own pace! If you talk to my Mommy and Daddy please tell them that.

I love you and miss you all very much!
