June
We have been so busy and having so much fun that we have forgotten to keep up with the website. Our summer days have been relaxing and full of adventure. We go to the splash park behind our house almost everyday. Jordyn is talking up a storm and India is never at a loss for a story. There are so many good ones.... the other day we were driving and India said, "Mommy you are driving really fast; you should slow down." I said "Oh, I'm sorry." India said "You don't have to be sorry Mommy. You didn't hit anyone." Other news: Jordyn is now sleeping in her big girl bed at night. We are still working on nap time because her and India just want to play and can tear a room apart.

Summer has arrived!
Today was our first day off for summer vacation! YAY!!!! Unfortunately mom and the girls are feeling a little under the weather. We didn't let that stop us as we visited the zoo and the park. We didn't take pictures because being sick makes us cranky (Although there was one moment when the girls were playing on the couch and I told them how cute they looked. India said, "Well take a picture Mommy!" The camera is never there when you want it! You will see from another post that India is already a great photographer. She loves to play with the camera and we are amazed at how well they turn out.
Here are some pics of the girls new big girl beds. India is sleeping in hers but Jordyn is not quite ready to give up the safety and security of her crib.
If anyone has a few spare moments please stop by. Since the girls have little colds they are in need of a little extra love and cuddling!!
Love you!

Small Accomplishments
Hope all is well to all who dwell. Thanks for listening as we share. Were blessed and happy to share we raise our children in a Godly home with joys and expectations that the sky's the limit. Celebrate with us as we feast on the joys of Jordyn having two successful poops in the potty this week. Yep, we get excited over here on the things that motivate us to to better! Well, we went for a walk to look at the horses beside our house as a celebration. We passed an elderly man with his dog along the way and of course the girls were very excited about the dog. When we got beside the old man, India said, "My sister Jordyn pooped on the potty!" Just as loud and proud as she could. The poor man did not know what to say and we just died laughing!

Last Wednesday
This is what we woke up to this past Wednesday morning. Spring in Colorado is a "different" experience! You can see from the pictures that even the girls had a hard time getting moving...they came right downstairs and found their favorite place on the couch. It is also really confusing to them as we switch from no jackets, to spring jackets, to winter jackets, and back to spring jackets again.

Spring...Snow...Spring
You may think that we look girly, but we are just getting our fill now because Daddy is going to make basketball players out of us. Then he says that we can't be girly anymore. Mommy says that it doesn't matter, we can be girly and basketball players. All I know is that basketball is ALWAYS on the TV these days. Daddy said it's playoff time and Mommy says that it's playoff time for two more months.
We just got back from the aquarium today. Yesterday it was snowing and it's still a little rainy today so we had to find something indoors to do. It was so much fun! Of course the tiger was our favorite. I liked the sharks too. Jordyn seemed to like the little colorful fish and the turtles the best.
Talk with you soon!
We Love you,
India

Easter
The girls were so much fun on Easter this year. They got excited about the egg hunt we went on and loved their bunny ears. Sorry there are no pictures of the actual egg hunt...it was a frantic, hectic time. We did get picture of the girls in the car with their baskets looking at their loot. Thank you to everyone who helped to make our Easter special with the thoughtful packages and cards! We felt spoiled and loved.

Seriously Beautiful
Here is a picture of the girls we had taken today. They were bound and determined not to smile for the camera. In India's defense, she had shots at the doctor's yesterday and is struggling with a really sore leg today. Jordyn has her older sister's back and wasn't going to smile if her big sister wasn't. They still look beautiful!

Top Ten Lists
Just for fun I thought I would post top ten lists of little known facts about the girls. Feel free to post your top ten list in comments :)
Jordyn's List
1. She will try to say any word you say to her.
2. When she hurts herself she wants to bury her head in your shoulder and bite you and kick her feet.
3. She loves animals and makes a mean tiger growl.
4. She goes from laughing to a loud, high pitch scream immediately, there is no happy medium.
5. She eats a lot of what she likes and won't touch what she doesn't want.
6. She hates to have her face wiped and screams and wiggles the whole time.
7. She got her first set of molars before her third set of front teeth.
8. When she eats she likes to put her foot on the table. We are trying to break her of this habit before anyone notices.
9. She loves people and will cuddle with just about anyone.
10. She also flocks to cameras and loves saying "cheese" for the camera.
India's List
1. She still sucks the 2 middle fingers on her right hand.
2. She has way too much rhythm in her hips for a 3 year old.
3. Fish sticks have been the breakfast of choice for the past month.
4. She loves to help put the groceries away.
5. Her manners are so sweet...today I told her we were having a birthday lunch for her and she said, "Awww, thank you Mommy"
6. Of course she also told a little boy at the playground that he had a runny nose and he ran and told his dad.
7. She is a great (although bossy) little mommy to Jordyn and her friends.
8. After she is finished eating she loves to put her own plate in the sink.
9. If there are sweets around don't turn your back. She has been caught taking bites when no one is watching.
10. When we go places she needs to have her purse and cell phone.
